How to customize the Grenadine event website Homepage images

1. Navigate to the “Home Page” sub menu item

In Grenadine Event Manager, select an Event and then and navigate to Publishing → Website Customizations → Home Page

2. Upload your images

You can customize 2 images: the background image and the foreground image.

  • Background image: the background image will be displayed on the homepage of your public website, behind the introductory text and conference information. It will replace the default Grenadine image. You can upload a “jpeg” image. The uploaded image should be at least 1920px by 600px.
  • Foreground Image (optional): the foreground image will be displayed on the homepage of your public website, on top of the background image. Foreground images may be logos or other informational images. We suggest using a “png” file with transparency so as not to hide the background image. The uploaded image should be at least 1000px by 500px.

To customize the images, simply click on the “upload image” button. From there you can either upload an image from your computer or specify an URL.

The “Position” field drop-down list allows adjusting the focus of your background image. Set it to reflect the area of your image where the important details are, or for the best composition.

3. Preview and/or publish the changes

Once the images are uploaded, you can preview the changes by clicking on the “Preview” button right next to the “Home Page” page title.

Once ready to update the event website, click the “Publish” green button right next to the “Home Page” page title.

 Do not forget to click the “Publish” green button or your changes won’t be reflected.
